When you connect magic Jack plus to your router and lift your phone to make calls,Sometimes you might be hearing an Error instead of dial tone "Error 23:Please check your internet connection"
To Solve this ,Go to your Router > DHCP Client table and look for the MAC Address starting with : 6C:33:A9:XX:XX .That will be your Magic Jack's MAC address.
Once you get it we need to reserve a permanent IP for Magic Jack.For that go to Address reservation > Add new
Once you bind the static [Permanent ] IP address to Magic Jack.Please reboot the magic Jack and router.After that your issue will be resolved.Your Magic Jack IP will stay permanent in the router
